RadarZone account deletion
This page explains how to delete your account in the RadarZone Android app, together with its data. Deletion is real deletion: the account is removed from our server, not deactivated.
1. Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open RadarZone and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Tap Menu → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted from our server immediately.
If you see an error message, nothing was deleted; try again or use the option below. Signing out alone does not delete the account.
2. Delete without the app (by email)
- Write to destek@radarzone.net from the email address registered to your account. If you signed in with Google, use that Google account's email address.
- Use the subject "Account deletion" and state the email address of the account to delete.
- We may ask for a reply or additional information to confirm the request is yours.
- We complete the request within 30 days and confirm by email.
Send a deletion request by email
Data that is deleted
- Account: email address, name, password hash, Google account identifier and account reference.
- Sessions.
- Saved places and destination history.
Data kept, detached from the account, and for how long
- Subscription and purchase records: as required by tax and commercial law, up to 10 years. They contain no card details; Google takes the payment.
- Feedback: up to 2 years from submission. You can ask for it to be deleted as well.
- Device trial record: not linked to your account; contains no name, email, IP address or location. Kept for 3 years from the device's last activity so that the trial is given once per device and abuse is prevented.
- Connection and security logs: up to 30 days.
- Backups: deleted data leaves the backups within 30 days.
Traffic and route records that are not linked to an account or device record cannot be matched to you, so they are not removed by account deletion. Details: privacy policy, retention.
Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → RadarZone → Cancel subscription. Open Google Play subscriptions.
Deleting data without deleting the account
If you only want certain data deleted (for example your feedback or destination history), write to the same address from the email address registered to your account. You can also delete saved places in the app.
Using the app without an account
If you never created an account, we hold no name or email for you. You can remove saved places and settings on your device in Android Settings → Apps → RadarZone → Storage → Clear data.
